About Freedom House Inc Illinois

Freedom House is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence. We provide safe shelter, advocacy, and comprehensive support services that empower individuals and families to heal, rebuild, and move forward with dignity. Our work is rooted in compassion, safety, and collaboration. Through crisis intervention, legal and medical advocacy, community outreach, and prevention education, we address both immediate needs and long-term stability for survivors. We also partner with local agencies, businesses, and community leaders to strengthen response systems and promote awareness. Freedom House is committed to creating safer communities by breaking cycles of violence and fostering hope, resilience, and independence. Together, we stand with survivors—and work toward a future free from abuse.
