About Freshmart

Freshmart is a brand owned by Loblaw, Canada's largest food retailer. Freshmart is part of a group of independent affiliates with more than 300 retailers across the country. Freshmart is built on the pride and commitment of its owners, all of whom are local entrepreneurs dedicated to serving their customers. Freshmart is a neighbourhood grocery store carrying local brands and providing local service to its clientele. With its two accessible and flexible retailer programs, Freshmart offers unique and adapted business opportunities to its merchants, who are at the heart of the company's business model. Affiliated merchants benefit from Loblaw's structure and scale, as well as access to its control label products, financial and promotional support, competitive selling costs and a rewarding entrepreneurial experience.
