About Freshwater Theatre Company

Helen and Carol first met at a community theatre group in Hackney in 1987. In 1996, they combined their passion and extensive experience in the arts and education to create Freshwater. Today Freshwater works with over 150,000 children a year, enriching learning through the joy of drama. Freshwater has become one of the most respected and established drama-in-education companies in the UK, enjoying long-lasting relationships with our schools. Last year we delivered 3000 workshops across 950 schools, museums and libraries. We are passionate about the power of the arts to provide valuable learning opportunities for your children, allowing them to express themselves creatively whilst embedding subject knowledge.
