Iceland's oldest operating confectioner, established in 1918. Many of Freyja's original products are still in production today and play a big part in the everyday life of Icelanders. Freyja produces many of Iceland's favorite confectionery brands. Freyja is a family company, owned by Ævar Guðmundsson and family values are important to him and the company in general. World class quality and taste is the heart of the business. In Iceland we love our liquorice and Freyja makes it the old Icelandic way, the only way it should be made if you ask us.
