WHO WE ARE Friends of Caritas Cuba is a non-sectarian, independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, incorporated in 2005 OUR MISSION Friends of Caritas Cuba enhances the capacity of CARITAS CUBA a nationwide NGO and the island's equivalent of Catholic Charities, to make life-changing improvements in the lives of the most vulnerable people of Cuba. CARITAS CUBA KEY PROGRAMS AND SERVICES Day care, after-school and breakfast programs for at-risk children Training, meals and therapy for those with Down's Syndrome or autism Nutrition and recreation programs for the Elderly Community supports services for those living with HIV/AIDS Emergency relief for victims of hurricanes and other natural disasters
