About Friends of Football

GOALS FOR GOOD Friends of Football is an incorporated society in Aotearoa New Zealand. We’re passionate about protecting and promoting the positive aspects of the ‘beautiful game’ to others — young and old — and the benefits it provides to the wider community. We publish football news from New Zealand and beyond on our website www.friendsoffootballnz.com With almost 100k visit a month, we believe we are the number one source of football news in Aotearoa New Zealand. Our website site is operated and maintained by volunteers, and we have a team of passionate volunteer writers and editors. We were founded in 2013 by former All White Brian Turner, from a common interest in sharing our love of the ‘beautiful game’ and its rich and proud history as the globe’s most popular team sport.
