About Friends of Oakland Communications/Friends of OC

As a 501(c)(3), we seek to support the work of the Oakland Communications Commission and its committees: the Television Committee, Newsletter Committee, Bulletin Board Committee, and Welcome, Website, and Social Media Committee. Through fundraisers, grants, and other creative avenues available to non-profit organizations, we aim to help the Borough communicate effectively with all residents, businesses, and visitors. This includes day-to-day activities, yearly plans and projects, and larger initiatives that require greater funding, collaboration, and flexibility than a governmental entity can easily provide.
