About Friends of Oketz

American Friends of Oketz (AFO) supports the elite Oketz K-9 Unit — the dogs, the handlers, and the families behind Israel’s life-saving canine teams. We raise funds in the United States to provide modern training, advanced equipment, veterinary care, and long-term support for veterans and their service animals. Through targeted grants, mission partnerships, and community engagement, AFO strengthens the operational readiness of Oketz while building a global network of supporters who believe in saving lives, honoring service, and investing in canine excellence.
