About Frier Vest

In the heart of Grenland, in southern Norway, Frier Vest is emerging as one of the country’s most promising industrial parks. With 3700 hectares of fully zoned industrial land, the area is ready for businesses seeking space for growth, innovation, and future solutions. A deep-water quay, strategic location, and solid energy plans make it an ideal arena for industrial development. Frier Vest is more than just an industrial area – it is a catalyst for new industries and value creation. Proximity to existing industries and strong local expertise provides businesses with access to an environment rich in experience from large-scale industrial projects. Collaboration between public and private sectors ensures a comprehensive approach to infrastructure, logistics, and sustainable energy solutions. Port of Grenland (Grenland Havn) is a key player in the development of Frier Vest, and the port’s experience in handling complex industrial value chains helps position the area as a vital part of Norway’s industrial future. With clear ambitions and a focus on growth, we facilitate opportunities for both national and international players to establish themselves here.
