About Front Range Passenger Rail District
Connecting Colorado Communities with Modern Intercity Passenger Rail. The Front Range Passenger Rail District (FRPRD) is advancing a bold vision to connect Colorado's Front Range communities and economic centers through a safe, efficient, and reliable intercity passenger rail system that expands access to housing, services, jobs, and other destinations. The District's near-term mission is to secure a sustainable source of funding necessary to construct, operate, and maintain a passenger rail system from Fort Collins to Pueblo via Denver with future expansion to Wyoming and New Mexico. With bipartisan support, FRPRD is working with state, regional, and local stakeholders as well as host railroads to introduce intercity passenger rail that can support: 1. New traffic-free options, including an alternative to I-25 and US-36 2. New affordable access to education, healthcare, and essential services 3. New jobs and public economic value 4. New investment in communities - local control with statewide impact 5. Environmental sustainability #BuildFRPR #BuildTheTrain #SkipTheTraffic #RideTheFrontRange Learn more at our website below.
