About Fundación BATIS

Fundación BATIS is a pioneer in ecosystem regeneration and environmental innovation in the Colombian Caribbean. We have led milestones such as the issuance of the first Biodiversity Credits in the region and the design of Habitat Banks as tools for ecological compensation and restoration. Our model integrates applied science, regenerative tourism, and environmental education, generating solutions that strengthen mangroves, dry forests, and other key ecosystems while empowering local communities. We believe in the power of strategic partnerships with companies, governments, academia, and investors to scale projects that contribute to global biodiversity and climate change goals. BATIS connects conservation with action and innovative financial mechanisms to create resilient, biodiverse, and prosperous territories. 🤝 Work with us to co-create replicable models of conservation and sustainable development.
