About Fundacion Proyecto de la Mano

Founded by a group of young social entrepreneurs and students, Proyecto De La Mano Miami began in 2018 as a supporting initiative to Proyecto De La Mano Venezuela, a grassroots organization dedicated to improving living conditions in rural and underserved communities. Through this collaboration, our team helped expand programs focused on education, healthcare, and community development for families in need. In 2023, we officially formalized Proyecto De La Mano Miami as a registered non-profit organization in the United States, allowing us to strengthen our operations, fundraising, and impact abroad. What started as a student-led effort has grown into a structured foundation committed to creating sustainable change and providing direct, proportional assistance to vulnerable communities in Venezuela.
