About Funky Monkey Bars

Funky Monkey Bars is an innovative start-up company that has re-introduced 'classic' outdoor play equipment for todays kids and now manufacturers thousands of modular backyard and school frames that are sold direct from its online store and distributed across Australia and internationally. The unique Funky Monkey Bars modular, free-standing product offering has seen sales grow more than 100% year-on-year since it launched in 2011. As the reputation and awareness of the brand grows, so does the company and its potential to get more kids outdoors doing what comes naturally and growing in strength and spirit. Funky Monkey Bars is all about bringing back the fun and resilience that comes from active outdoor play that we remember as kids - sitting atop the monkey bar in the exclusively no adult zone. Funky Monkey Bars is continually innovating to introduce new play, fitness and climbing experiences to our modular monkey bars that are age and skill appropriate. The vision is to see Funky Monkey Bars become as iconic as the Rotary Hills Hoist clothesline once was in Australian backyards.
