About Futureative

Building a more creative the future → Futureative is an insight platform for independent creatives navigating what’s next. We host online summits and conversations designed to surface real-world insight on creative practice, launching work, and navigating change. Why we exist → The creative industries are changing faster than many individuals can adapt on their own. Opportunities, platforms, funding models, and career pathways are increasingly fragmented. Valuable insight exists, but it is often siloed, outdated, or hard to access when creatives need to make their next decision. Many traditional pathways still matter, but they are no longer sufficient on their own for building sustainable creative careers. Futureative exists to bring timely, relevant insight into the open, and to make it easier for creatives to learn from what is actually working as conditions change. What we do → We bring together creative practitioners, educators, and industry voices through a series of insight-led online summits hosted multiple times per year. Each summit focuses on a core dimension of creative careers: → Creative practice and sustainability → Launching work and creating opportunity → Navigating industry change Sessions are grounded in real-world experience. Contributors are actively doing the work and sharing what’s proving effective now. Events combine conversation, shared insight, and practical exercises designed to help creatives apply ideas to their own context. How we’re different → Futureative is Australia-based and globally connected, reflecting both local realities and the borderless nature of creative work. Our aim → We are building a trusted platform creatives can return to whenever the ground shifts. A place where better questions are asked, clearer trade-offs are explored, and creative careers are shaped
