About Futuresfilmfestival

To take place November 2017 in Hong Kong and a Queensland, Australia location in September 2017, f3 incorporating film and transmedia will see the arrival of key thinkers and thought leaders who share the skills and desire to visualize possible futures. A festival on the theme of futures as an event has the potential to catapult a region into the consciousness of truly global thinkers. Cinema as a medium is powerful and boasts a multiplier effect which sees an extraordinary shelf life for those organizations which exploit it. f3 is a concentration of works which addresses the future and will involve more than 100 guests and participants. The undertaking will see a balance of private and public involvement. A team of individuals are charged with its fulfilment from sectors including corporate and academic futures research, the film industry, and sustainability.
