About Fycely

Making Product Research More Objective, for Everyone Fycely is a research platform that helps teams understand how users really feel when they use a product or service. It does this by analyzing facial expressions in usability testing videos and turning emotional signals into clear, structured data. The goal is simple: reduce guesswork, reduce bias, and make research insights more objective and easier to act on. In traditional user research, much of what we learn depends on interpretation. Researchers watch videos, read transcripts, and infer emotions based on tone, wording, or body language. Participants also filter their feedback. They often say things are “fine” even when they are confused, frustrated, or disengaged. Fycely adds another layer of evidence by capturing what users feel in the moment, not just what they remember or choose to say. How It Works Fycely is designed to fit naturally into existing research workflows. Create a project Start by creating a project and, if needed, defining phases or sections of the study such as onboarding, checkout, or task completion. This helps structure analysis later. Upload videos Upload usability testing videos directly to the platform. Videos are organized by project and can be tagged for easy reference. Run analysis With one click, Fycely analyzes facial expressions throughout the video. The process runs automatically in the background. Review emotional insights After analysis, emotional data is mapped to the video timeline. You can watch the video and see how emotions change moment by moment. Explore summaries and reports Fycely generates clear summaries, emotion breakdowns, key moments, and valence scores. Reports can be exported as PDFs or JSON for sharing and further analysis.
