About Gallo Center for the Arts

The Gallo Center for the Arts is a non-profit performing arts complex in downtown Modesto. We have two state-of-the-art venues: the 1,240-seat Mary Stuart Rogers Theater, and the 440-seat Foster Family Theater. The mission of the Gallo Center is to enrich the quality of life in California's San Joaquin Valley and beyond by providing an inspirational civic gathering place where regional, national and international cultural activities illuminate, educate and entertain. The Gallo Center celebrates the diversity of our community by offering an array of affordable cultural opportunities designed to appeal, and be accessible, to all. Pollstar, the leading trade publication for the live music industry, has recognized the Gallo Center for the Arts as one of the TOP 10 performing arts theaters in the world based on overall performance by venues with 2,000 seats or less.
