Garden Institute for the Rehabilitation and Research (GRIRR) was established in the year 2015, to support vulnerable and marginalized people. The organization’s goals include complete elimination of illiteracy, poverty alleviation, and independence among persons with disabilities. Over the years, the organization has primarily worked with persons with disabilities (particularly with children with disabilities) and with disempowered women. Key interventions delivered by GRIRR have been in the form of delivering and strengthening inclusive education, establishing physiotherapy and rehabilitation center for children with disabilities, promoting and enabling community-based rehabilitation, delivering skill development training, and development of slums.
