About Gazzetta

Gazzetta is a media research lab building media resilience in autocratic contexts and distorted information environments. We focus on practical, people-centered solutions and empathetic research when traditional methods are challenging or not possible. Founded in 2024 by Patrick Boehler, our team spans multiple countries and projects, collaborating with partners who face real constraints and urgent information needs. What we do: > Map community information needs and access patterns to ground strategy in reality > Design news and service products that meet people where they are > Help newsrooms realign around mission, not routine > Equip teams with targeted training for work under pressure > Connect peers to share tactics and strengthen independent media networks
