About GEA Alliance

The Cairn Project and the AWE Summit Scholarship Foundation 501(c)(3) have merged to create the Alliance for Gender Equity in Outdoor Adventure or GEA Alliance for short. Our mission is to connect women, girls, and gender-diverse adventurers with transformative adventure opportunities, advancing gender equity on and off the mountain. From the Trailblazer Program to Grit Lit, from the See Her Outside Podcast to the Women of Mountaineering Calendar, and from the Summit Scholarship to The Compass Collective - all of our campaigns work to increase gender equity in the mountains, on the trails, and beyond.
