Gear Her Up Foundation jobs and careers

About Gear Her Up Foundation

The Gear Her Up Foundation is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to opening doors for young women in automotive and skilled-trade careers. We create hands-on, real-world learning experiences and life skills, by guiding participants through the complete restoration of a donated vehicle. Our students learn alongside industry professionals who rebuild, replace, weld, and fabricate components, while exposing them to the many career paths available in automotive technology, engineering, welding, and related trades. Our mission is to break down stereotypes, build confidence, and create visible pathways into high-demand, well-paying careers where women are still underrepresented. Gear Her Up Foundation operates under the fiscal sponsorship of OneOC, a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
