About Genesis Village of Hope Inc.

Genesis Village of Hope Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides innovative, permanent, supportive housing to Ontario’s most vulnerable youth. Genesis is in the start-up phase, and is laying the foundation for a village of tiny homes for vulnerable youth. The homes are arranged to convey a village feel where connectedness is central to healing and personal growth. We provide sustainable housing solutions for young people who need various forms of living assistance. This includes youth who have aged out of foster care, underrepresented populations, individuals struggling with mental illness and addictions, and individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Our model provides a therapeutic living arrangement for our residents inclusive of parental figures, live in mentors and support staff, who participate in, and co-ordinate programs for those in our community.
