About Genre of Design

Genre of Design is a multidisciplinary Architecture, Interior Design, and Urban Design firm working across various scales and geographies. We specialize in high-end residential, hospitality, commercial, retail, institutional, healthcare, and large-scale urban development projects including housing and townships. With a deep belief that "to create architecture is to create possibilities", our work is rooted in the idea that buildings should emerge from life, not just serve functions. We challenge rigid typologies and conventional boundaries- crafting spaces that are intuitive, spontaneous, and profoundly human. For us, architecture isn’t about labels or categories, but about enriching the way we live, interact, and experience space. Our diverse portfolio includes collaborations with leading hospitality brands such as Taj, Lemon Tree, Sarovar Portico, among others. Genre of Design has been featured in prominent publications including Architecture+Design, India Today Home, IFJ, Glitz, The Architect's Diary, ADF, Architect and Interiors India, and Design Essentia, reflecting the impact and reach of our work. We are committed to creating architecture that supports life in its real essence- open-ended, alive, and always evolving.
