About Georgian Infusion

Georgian Infusion is a cultural project with one core mission: to preserve Georgia's textile heritage and show how it has shaped fashion and visual culture around the world. We're building a restoration workshop at the Simon Janashia Museum of Georgia, where we work alongside textile restorers, ethnographers, and archivists to bring historical pieces back to life — and find their place in modern fashion and design. Here's what we're working on: — Researching how Georgian textile traditions appear in museum collections and fashion house archives worldwide — Creating a permanent ethnographic exhibition — Running a textile restoration workshop and educational program — Preparing a major international exhibition on Georgia's influence on global fashion The long-term vision is to build a center for artisans and craftsmen — a place where heritage, contemporary design, and craft production come together.
