Gertrude Biomedical is dedicated to developing novel small molecule inhibitors of the SOX18 transcription factor complex, targeting genes that build blood & lymphatic vessels. This approach 'short circuits' the gene programs that promote pathological vessels in disease, providing the potential to treat human diseases that depend on aberrant vasculature for their growth and spread.
