About GetCare Foundation

GetCare Foundation is a Ghana-based implementation organization that designs and operates rural economic transition systems for agricultural and resource-dependent communities. The foundation works at the intersection of livelihoods, environmental restoration, and local enterprise development by moving communities from informal survival economies into structured, market-linked and climate-compatible production systems. Its approach integrates five operational components: community formalisation, productivity improvement, market integration, local value creation, and alternative livelihood transition. Through this model, GetCare supports smallholder farmers, mining-affected communities, and rural youth to become legally recognised economic actors, increase land productivity, secure predictable incomes, and participate in sustainable value chains.
