About Ghana Institute of Planning

The Ghana Institute of Planning (GIP) was formally founded upon the acceptance and adoption of the governing constitution on the 28th Day of March 1969 at the conference Hall of the State House, Accra. With a membership of over 1,200 planning professionals of various persuasions, GIP has promoted high standards of planning practice and has served as the voice of Ghana’s planning community since 1969.
