About GI School
GI School was founded over thirty years ago when a group of leaders from the Quindío region recognized the need to drive regional development through education. In a philanthropic gesture, the founders donated their resources, expertise, and time to make the exceptional school we have today a reality. The project began in a rented facility with fewer than 50 students and quickly expanded, acquiring its own campus. Today, our school spans 11 hectares, including native forests, streams with ecological trails, and robust educational infrastructure with environments and spaces designed to foster learning. Currently, we have a diverse student population of 760+ learners from K2 to 12th grade. Our academic calendar runs from August to June (Calendar B).
