About Gibson Property Corporation

The Gibson name has been synonymous with property in Melbourne since 1882 when Albert E. Gibson opened a real estate business in the northern suburbs. Upon leaving A.E Gibson & Co in 1972, John Gibson followed in the family footsteps and opened his own company – Gibson Property Corporation. In 2009, John was joined by his son, Charles. GPC has a substantial portfolio of successfully completed projects that are the evidence of a company with the vision, capability and experience to oversee Greenfield and Infill development concepts through every stage of planning, development, construction and sales. GPC have now embarked on their largest and most visionary development to date, Merrifield – a new 24-hour city for Melbourne, in a joint venture with Michael and Andrew Buxton’s MAB Corporation. GPC’s other activities currently being undertaken include a new mixed-use development in South Morang’s major Activity Centre.
