Gilbert Employment Law (GEL) has a vibrant employment law practice with offices in Silver Spring, MD and Honolulu, Hawaii representing employees and employers in a variety of public and private sector cases. Our attorneys are experienced in handling claims of discrimination on the bases of race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, and disability—as well as related matters such as responding to adverse actions and representation before the MSPB, requests for reasonable accommodations, disability retirement, workers'​ compensation, and whistleblower retaliation. Those seeking representation need experienced legal counsel with broad expertise in all applicable forums. We provide this experience and expertise practicing before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Merit System Protection Board, the Office of Federal Operations, the Office of Personnel Management, state/local civil and human rights agencies, and various state and federal courts.
