About Gilpin Hotel & Lake House

Gilpin is an elegant, relaxing haven of luxury, with no weddings, conferences or children under seven to disturb the peace, just warm smiles, fabulous food, fresh flowers, real fires and friendly, unpretentious service. At the heart of Gilpin is a passionate family and team dedicated to creating lasting memories for our guests, who come back time and again for special celebrations and escapes. Hospitality for us starts with a very warm welcome and ends with a friendly goodbye. In between that we strive for extraordinary service, exquisite décor and stunning culinary experiences at our two luxury country houses in the beautiful Lake District.
