About Gippsland Jersey

Gippsland Jersey, co-founded by Sallie Jones and Steve Ronalds in 2016, is a boutique dairy processor that began on-farm manufacturing operations in March 2020 with four staff members. Located near Lakes Entrance, the company now employs 12 people and processes 50,000 liters of milk weekly. Their range includes full cream, unhomogenised, light milk, buttermilk, cream, sour cream, ghee and cultured butter. The company champions local provenance, sustainability, and ethical operations, sourcing from four family farms and providing fair prices for their premium Jersey milk. Gippsland Jersey's ethos revolves around three pillars: fair farmer pricing, rural suicide prevention, and kindness, emphasising animal welfare and sustainable practices. By paying consistent milk prices and focusing on local manufacturing, they support regional economies and contribute to the mental health of the farming community. Committed to innovation and market expansion, Gippsland Jersey continuously develops new products and engages more dairy farmers.
