About Us Girl Code Movement is a youth-led innovation infrastructure building distributed production capacity across Africa. We identify emerging technical talent and move them from exposure to execution through structured programmes in digital fabrication, civic technology, and design thinking. Our approach goes beyond skills training; we develop problem-solvers who build tangible solutions to real community challenges. Through hackathons, labs, and applied learning environments, participants prototype, test, and deploy solutions in areas such as governance, manufacturing, education, and climate. Alongside programme delivery, we operate a growing longitudinal ecosystem dataset that tracks builder progression, project outcomes, and regional innovation patterns. By combining hands-on technical development with structured ecosystem intelligence, Girl Code Movement strengthens local innovation capacity while generating insights that inform policy, partnerships, and inclusive digital transformation. We are building systems that enable communities not just to consume technology, but to design and produce it.
