About Girl Hike CIC

Girl Hike CIC was founded by feminist strategist and coach Alaina Crystal, who was guiding a hike on the Bedruthan Steps in 2023 when the phrase "Girl Hike" appeared in her mind. Alaina, like many women+, has an old story about herself that she isn't "outdoorsy," and she often saw hiking as something that wasn't positioned towards her. It can feel inaccessible or scary to do alone. She started Girl Hike as a way to rewrite this story for herself, and for the hundreds of women+ who have joined her on the trail since.
