About Girls on the Run North Bay

Girls on the Run North Bay provides an inclusive, fun, girl empowerment program that builds resilience through creatively combining social, emotional, and physical health with movement. At Girls on the Run North Bay, teaching critical life skills is the cornerstone of our research-based programs. Meeting in small groups, trained volunteer coaches inspire participants to strengthen confidence and other important life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and physical activity. Over three-fourths of the 685 girls received financial assistance to participate in 50 schools in the Spring of 2023. The funds raised will help to build resilience for our girls from under-resourced communities this school year.
