Girls Who Chase jobs and careers
About Girls Who Chase
Girls Who Chase is a global media and education initiative focused on encouraging participation and access to fields where women have traditionally been underrepresented, including storm chasing and extreme nature reporting, extreme weather and natural disaster research, and disaster response. Today, the initiative has reached audiences in more than 20 countries and been featured on/in in The Washington Post, Cosmopolitan, National Geographic, The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Today Show, NBC, and more. GWC's programs are designed to create visible pathways, build confidence, and enable participation and access to weather, meteorology and science spaces, as well as inspire people to pursue their "thing" -- whatever that thing might be. GWC produces the popular annual Spring Training event, a daylong online "weather and storm chasing 101" workshop that offers lectures, panels and networking sessions for learning and community building.
