Gladstone is a Global Long | Short Equity investment manager established in 2005. The investment strategy is aimed at outperforming equity markets by a meaningful margin. The Lasker Fund has a typical net exposure range of 20–50%, and generates returns on Long and Short investments by using a fundamental research approach to identify structurally value creating and value destructive companies and industries. The research focuses on governance, industry structure evolution, structural change, corporate change, balance sheet structure, capital allocation and returns on capital.
