About GLAFPOL

GLAFPOL is a research and analytical firm registered in the United States, with operations in East and the Horn of Africa. Our thematic concentration encompasses fragility in its broadest sense — from governance and democratization, to conflict, security, and stabilization. Our analytical framework focuses on understanding the underlying politics, whether we are researching the impact of climate change on stabilization efforts or examining political settlements. Our rigorous analytical and research approaches prioritize primary data, utilizing a mixed-method methodology — whether that involves collecting open-source data, interviewing political elites, or conducting large-scale surveys.
