About GLOBAÏA

GLOBAÏA is a science-art organization working at the intersection of Earth system science, data visualization, and humanistic vision. Based in New Zealand, we create planetary-scale visualizations, interactive experiences, and research-based imagery that make the full scope of the human imprint on Earth viscerally legible. Our work spans animated maps of deep time, boundary-crossing infographics of the Anthropocene, and immersive web experiences — all grounded in peer-reviewed science and designed to shift how people understand our moment in Earth history. We believe that planetary awareness is a precondition for planetary stewardship. GLOBAÏA is a charitable trust. Our work is open and freely shared.
