GAB is an accreditation body in Qatar that provides accreditation services to third party conformity assessment bodies (also known as Certification Bodies). GAB complies with international standard ISO/IEC 17011 “Conformity assessment – Requirements for accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies”. GAB is an Associate Member of Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC), and an Accreditation Body Member of International Accreditation Forum (IAF), GAB is the first and only accreditation body established in Qatar to achieve this status.
