About Global Education Accrediting Commission
The GEAC is an accrediting body for schools and universities, both online and physical, around the world. We accredit based on factors inclusive of curriculum and instruction, teaching and learning, enrollment and marketing, facilities and maintenance, and operations. Our institutional assessment framework incorporates a detailed review of pertinent documents as well as an on-site peer review visit to verify compliance with GEAC standards. Once institutions pass through the accreditation process, and receive a final confirmation of accreditation from our committee, they are invited to join the GEAC as institutional members. GEAC institutional members are considered formal parts of the GEAC network, and benefit from regular events, networking, and professional development opportunities. In addition, staff members at GEAC-accredited and member institutions are able to join professional development events and receive certificates of completion for these free thematic workshops.
