About Global Penguin Society

The Global Penguin Society (GPS) is an international conservation organization dedicated to protecting all 18 penguin species and the oceans they depend on. We combine science, conservation, education, and policy to safeguard critical marine and coastal habitats. Working in 20+ countries, we collaborate with scientists, NGOs, governments, and communities, protecting 32 million hectares of marine and terrestrial habitat. Penguins are ocean health ambassadors — protecting them means protecting our planet’s future.
