About Global Psychiatric Association

We are an international psychiatric organization founded in 2020 by like-minded psychiatrists and psychologists based in Scotland. We aim to advance the field of Psychiatry by providing a non bureautic platform to mental health professionals. We believe in the spirit of multidisciplinary collaboration and interdisciplinary approach, as is the need of the times. We intend to support mental health professionals and this eventually support psychiatric services delivery and education globally. We intend to allow young clinicians and researchers to network and to post important information on all aspects of psychiatry even if they are working in less advantaged places and small institutions. To summarise, our aim is to be completely democratic, supportive, non-judgemental, flexible and to avoid extensive bureaucracy and administration.
