About Global South Policy Process Research Network - IPPA

The Global South Public Policy Research Network (GSPPRN) is a research and policy practice knowledge network focused on multidisciplinary studies of public policies and their processes in countries of the Global South. The Network seeks to advance grounded knowledge emerging from countries of the Global South, to develop our understandings of shared, unique and situated histories, knowledge(s) and practices of policies and policymaking in the Global South, moving beyond Northern analytical lenses to build a more robust and globally representative field. We promote interrogating the applicability of established frameworks and support the development of new, context-sensitive models to explain how policies are made, implemented, and change in the region.
