About Global Street Connect

Global Street Connect is a grassroots-driven initiative committed to improving the lives of street-connected children through healthcare, mental health awareness and support, life skills development, advocacy, and public engagement. We believe that every child deserves dignity, safety, and a future — no matter where they come from or where they sleep. Our work began with a simple question: Who stands beside the children society forgets? From that question emerged a movement — one rooted in compassion, community, and action. We partner with local organizations, medical professionals, educators, and volunteers to bring mobile health clinics, child-friendly health literacy, mental health awareness and psychosocial support, and capacity building for essential life skills to children surviving on the streets of Dhaka and beyond. We work in the spaces most systems overlook — on pavements, in slums, beside train stations, and under open skies — meeting children where they are, with care that listens and responds.
