At Globus Metal Powders we specialise in the production of fine metal powders, including Stainless Steel, Nickel, Cobalt as well as bespoke and custom grades, supplying the Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, Hydrogen, Marine, Motorsport and wider Engineering sectors. Globus operate a Vacuum Inert Gas Atomiser (VIGA) with argon with additional anti-satellite technology, which produces market leading metal powders in terms of chemistry and morphology. Our metal powders are ideal for the manufacture of components used in demanding applications through additive manufacturing or powder metallurgy (PM-HIP) processes. Operational excellence and attention to detail in the setup and running of the plant, ensure market-leading low levels of surface oxides, and a product which is highly repeatable from batch to batch. Globus have 3 full time metallurgists in the team, who can assist with specialist material alloying of metal powders for specific needs, applications and challenges. We alloy from base elemental materials and selected revert, we manufacture all our own powders and we do not source from 3rd parties. Our production and lab is AS/EN9100 certified.
