Glossed & Gritty exists to bring women in the collision industry to the forefront – unfiltered, unapologetic and fully seen. Our magazine goes beyond the technical to explore the lifestyle of being a woman in the shop, celebrating those who paved the path, those redefining it and those just getting started. Our mission is to increase visibility, retention and opportunity for women in the collision repair industry by creating a lifestyle magazine that reflects who they are, what they face and what they’re capable of, while fostering a culture of respect, collaboration and allyship. Through storytelling, advocacy and community, we help women envision themselves in the trade – and stay there. We’re shifting the narrative to prove women don’t just belong in this industry – we help shape its future. Glossed and Gritty will hold up a mirror to the full spectrum of women’s experiences as collision professionals that highlights everything that sets us apart and brings us together in mutual respect. And together, this community will rewrite the narrative of what a collision career looks like for the women who are passionate about this trade. We believe the collision industry is better when more voices are heard. We believe progress doesn’t require pushing anyone out – it requires making room.
