About GLOW Program
Since 2006, GLOW Program Inc. has been empowering girls to build confidence, discover their voice, and develop the skills needed to become strong and influential leaders in their communities. Through guided discussion, reflection, and physical activity, GLOW helps girls explore their strengths, identify what matters most to them, and build the confidence to stand up for what they believe in. Our programs support the social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of girls, encouraging healthy decision-making and leadership development during these important years. GLOW offers 8-week programs for girls ages 9–16, designed to be delivered in schools, community centres, and youth organizations. Each session includes a GLOW Circle, where participants engage in meaningful and age-appropriate conversations about confidence, leadership, and identity. Sessions also include fun and creative physical activities, supporting the development of the whole girl. To help communities bring GLOW to life, we provide curriculum and Facilitator Training, making it easy for educators, youth leaders, and organizations to run the program in their own communities. In addition to our core program, GLOW works in partnership with Plan International Canada, collaborating on the development and delivery of programs that support girls’ confidence and leadership. Through this partnership, we pilot initiatives, provide feedback on program development, and deliver programs and workshops helping bring these impactful resources to young people. As part of our continued growth, GLOW is expanding into the world of sport with GLOW Up Your Coaching, a workshop designed to help coaches create positive environments where girls feel confident, supported, and empowered to grow both on and off the field. For 20 years, GLOW has worked alongside schools, community organizations, and partners who share a commitment to supporting the next generation of confident and capable young leathers.
