About Godfrey Short & Squire

Godfrey Short & Squire is a customer orientated concept in estate agency, established by old hands in the business. Quite simply, after 10 years of working within corporate estate agency and becoming increasingly frustrated with their way of doing business we knew we could do better. GSS property was established in 2008 by business partners Nick Godfrey, Matt Short and Deborah Squire . The business has quickly established itself as a key player in the competitive West Devon housing market despite the challenges facing the property industry. Not only have we developed a strong and comprehensive sales service we also offer an established lettings service that is market leading in the EX20 area. Our Okehampton office is based in the heart of the community on Fore Street. With a prominent position in the town centre and a modern LED lit window display, ensuring that your property will stand out. By limiting our market to properties in Okehampton and the surrounding villages, we don’t stretch ourselves too thinly and can offer our customers a highly personalised service with genuine insider knowledge of the local property market.
