About Golden Devices GmbH

Golden Devices GmbH is a high-tech startup based in Erlangen, founded in April 2022 as a spin-out from the Institute of Microwaves and Photonics at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. We design and produce cutting-edge mmWave and RF components up to 300 GHz - from prototype to series production. All key steps are in-house: custom design, prototyping, optimization, 3D printing with metallization and quality control. Our products are used in diverse applications: automotive, drones, satellites, safety and next-generation mobile communication (including 6G). Our manufacturing process utilises polymer 3D printing, followed by ultra-thin copper-nickel metallization, enabling monolithic designs that minimize waste while ensuring very low electromagnetic losses. Every component, from a few millimeters to half a meter in size, is tested in our own lab to ensure top performance. We hold a portfolio of patents and are capable of scaling from individual units to serial production.
